16 years

Last week Brian and I celebrated 16 years by going back to Cancun . It was absolutely beautiful and we were too busy relaxing to take many pictures. The food was really good and I did splurge a few times. I refuse to weigh till atleast this coming Sunday after a week of being back to normal.

But no worries about me moving to Mexico EVER  because my hair does not like the climate there. Interesting how the nights felt hotter than the days.  The resort was so gorgeous, always clean and the landscaping so lush. The iguanas on the rock walls were huge and just hung out soaking up the sun. One day I got really distracted by a worker clipping the grass edges by hand. You just don't see that around here.

Let's hope it doesn't take us 16 years to return again.

Graduating

Last week Macy graduated the 8th grade and will move on to the High School next year. They have a graduation program complete with cap and gown where they give out all sorts of awards and diplomas for completing Middle School.

Macy got  several different awards, Best Actor Award for the play, Student Athlete award for Cheerleading, Student Government Award, the surprise of the night was when she was awarded the Principal's Award . This award is given to 1 boy and 1 girl from the whole 8th grade that out 130-ish students. Macy given a plaque and Wii, we were so surprised we didn't even think to take a picture of her getting the award. We are very proud of her and her accomplishments.
Parker and Molly also have awards day. Both got awards for A-B honor roll all year. Parker received a metal for his SAT score too. Also Molly graduated from the D.A.R.E program. Logan completed his freshman year making all A and B's all year.   Way to go guys!  We are proud of you all!

With all this graduating going on it means that I am "graduating" too. Next year I will have a High School Freshman and Sophomore . A Middle School 6th grader. And at Margaret Elementary I will have a 5th grader and Kindergartner. Hudson will be a preschooler too. Times will be changing around here for sure.
